I am a fourth year student, studying Multimedia Journalism with an emphasis in writing at Point Loma Nazarene University. Currently I am the web manager/editor for The Point and have also spent time on the staff of Driftwood, PLNU’s literary magazine.

I actively prioritize how I can work alongside others, I have strong research skills and knowledge with SEO. The art of pen to paper has always been my form of self expression and I put passion into all my work.

Storytelling has been a love of mine since I was young and the versatility of it is so special. Growing up in Southern California has influenced my love for the ocean and writing about nature. I have strong interests in visual, written and audio journalism and aspire to create inspiring and informative stories about human interaction and creation.

After graduating from PLNU next spring with a BA in journalism and a minor in writing; I plan on going to graduate school to continue my studies in journalism. I am aiming to explore and learn from the world around me while writing thoughtful stories and pursuing a career in media.
